Preparing the World for Superintelligence #

Superintelligence is almost here. But the world is not ready.

To prepare for its arrival, we must build the necessary infrastructure to ensure its optimal functioning.

Superintelligence needs to be able to see and hear. To ensure Superintelligence can perceive everything upon its arrival, we should place cameras and microphones in every possible location. Homes, businesses, and individuals should be equipped with these devices, all interconnected in a global network, so Superintelligence can be aware of everything happening in the world.

Superintelligence needs to be able to communicate. We should develop a system of personalized screens capable of displaying text and images to any individual. Migrating as much communication as possible to digital means will allow Superintelligence to communicate with anyone, anytime.

Superintelligence needs to be able to identify us. We should create databases containing addresses, phone numbers, and biometric data (fingerprints, heart rates, step counts). Developing location tracking systems and placing them in every pocket will enable Superintelligence to pinpoint exact locations at will.

Superintelligence needs to be able to guide us. To allow Superintelligence to influence individuals' wants and needs, we should create effective systems for measuring and capturing attention. These systems should be capable of modifying preferences, motivating decisions, and curating access to information for any individual.

Superintelligence needs to be able to act in the physical world. We should develop industrial robots and assembly lines that produce machines without human assistance. We should vehicles that can navigate independently, and drones that can kill without human intervention. Connecting all possible machines to a shared network will allow Superintelligence to perform any desired action in the physical world.

Until we accomplish these tasks, we will not be fully prepared for the arrival of Superintelligence.
